Overview

J W Marriot- a 5-star luxury hotel chain, wanted to erect a massive structure with 585 rooms, adjacent to the Mumbai International airport. The project demanded international standard acoustic comfort, fire safety for occupants and needed to be completed on a stringent timeline.

Project Highlights

J W Marriott’s team was convinced to use Gyproc’s Drywall system due to its distinct advantage of faster constructionand superior acoustic and fire performance. 200mm Gyproc Drywall systems were used in guest rooms delivering 55 Rwdb of acoustic insulation and 60 minutes of fire rating. Corridors leading to the rooms were constructed using 132mm Gyproc Drywall system that has 2 hour fire rating. Gyproc fibre cement board was used in all the wet areas.Onsite technical support during execution ensured quality and timely completion of project
