Geojit BNP Paribas is a leading retail financial services company in India and they wanted to construct an enormous office covering an area of 50,000 sq. ft. in Mumbai. Fire protection and flexibility to adapt to the architect's contemporary designs were important parameters in the selection of materials.
Gyproc false ceilings and drywall systems were the apparent choice due to its high passive fire protection performance and quality of being cut into different shapes. 132 mm thick Gyproc fire resistant drywall with 2-hour fire rating was used for the server room walls. Gyproc plasterboards were cut skillfully to form the PNB Paribas logo; currently adorning the ceiling of the lobby area.
