Lodha World Towers,Mumbai
Lodha World Towers located in central Mumbai will be the world’s tallest residential towers on completion. The project consists of 2 towers; World One which has 117 storeys and World Crest which has 84 storeys. The key challenges in this project stem from the height of the towers which means using a system that is lightweight, easy and fast to install.
Gyproc drywalls have been chosen for this project as they deliver on all requirements of being lightweight material (helping to reduce structural load), being faster to construct with, and delivering high performance. Gyproc performance drywall systems and false ceiling systems have been specified and are been installed in all internal areas including internal room to room walls, room to corridor walls, bathroom walls and shaft walls. The highlight of this project is the installation of Secure Wall, a high security drywall with a GI sheet layer in between, being used for the room to corridor drywalls. The drywalls for this project are designed to give 1-2 hour fire rating and an acoustic insulation of 45 RwdB.
